Eating for health is extremely important, and something I am incredibly passionate about… However, so is eating for ENJOYMENT!
There are so many different aspects of our health that we need to be aware of: a healthy heart, healthy kidneys, healthy liver, strong bones, mental health…. The list goes on.
But with all this research flying around, ‘diet culture’ seems to have taken over and made us forget that were actually supposed to be enjoying food – not avoiding it!
Now, a ‘diet’ is not a term I use for weight loss. The media tell us that a diet is something someone goes on when trying to lose weight. However, it is actually a term used to describe the kinds of food one eats.
